Jobber integration: calls become job requests, not notes
Voco turns phone calls into Jobber requests automatically, and shows you exactly what it left off. Available on every plan.
If you're on a job and can't answer the phone, Voco can take the call and get it straight into Jobber, without you typing it in when you finally get a minute.
What happens to a call in Jobber?
When Voco answers a genuine enquiry, it creates a request in Jobber against the right client. A request is Jobber's own object for work waiting to be quoted or scheduled, so it lands exactly where you already look.
The request is titled by what they wanted, for example "Emergency plumbing enquiry, taken by Voco", or "Phone enquiry, taken by Voco" if the call wasn't classified. The note carries a summary of what the caller said, the enquiry type, the outcome, and the date and time.
If Jobber has never seen the caller, the client is created first, with their name and number. If they're already there, Voco matches them rather than creating a duplicate.
Does every call get sent to Jobber?
No, and that's deliberate. Only calls that need acting on are sent: a message taken, an appointment booked, a callback asked for.
Left off by default: questions answered on the call, calls transferred to someone who picked up, spam, callers who rang off before saying what they wanted, and wrong numbers.
If you'd rather see every call regardless, you can switch that setting. And any call can be sent to Jobber by hand in one click, whatever the rule decided.
How do I see what didn't get sent?
Voco lists every call and whether it reached Jobber, and if not, why, in plain terms: "Marked as spam", "The caller had a question, which was answered on the call", "The call was transferred, so somebody picked it up".
Anything not sent has a Send to Jobber button next to it. Anything that failed can be tried again.
Does Voco recognise callers already in my Jobber?
Yes. Somebody already in your Jobber is greeted by name, even on their first ever call to your Voco number, because Voco recognises them from the client record.
You choose one of three settings: off, greet them by name, or ask them to confirm who they are first. This setting covers every connected system you use, not just Jobber, so it's one decision rather than several.
Where a number could belong to more than one client, which happens with shared lines and office numbers, Voco says nothing rather than guessing.
How do I connect it, and what if something goes wrong?
One click, then approve access inside Jobber. Voco checks the connection every hour. If Jobber stops accepting it, usually because access was removed, you'll get one email explaining how to reconnect. A Jobber outage on their end doesn't trigger that email or disconnect anything.
Is this available on every plan?
Yes. No integration is gated by plan. Plans differ by call allowance and overage rate only. See our pricing for full details.
