Customer replies on WhatsApp, answered for you

Voco sends your customers their booking confirmations and call follow-ups on WhatsApp, and when they reply, the same AI receptionist that answers your phone can answer them, day or night. Photos and voice notes are kept on the customer's record, voice notes are written out as text, and you approve bookings, take over a conversation or get your daily summary on your own WhatsApp.

Pay as you go at 29p a minute, billed by the second. A WhatsApp conversation is charged like a website chat.

What it does

What does Voco do on WhatsApp?

Voco uses WhatsApp for four things: confirming bookings, following up calls, answering the customers who reply, and keeping you up to date on your own phone.

  • Answers customer replies

When a customer replies to a confirmation or a follow-up, Voco answers from your own services, prices and hours, and can book or move an appointment. Reply yourself at any point and Voco steps back.
  • Keeps photos and voice notes

A photo of a leak or a voice note about a lockout is saved to the customer record, and voice notes are written out as text, so you can read them between jobs.
  • Confirms bookings with a change link

Booking confirmations go out on WhatsApp with a "Change or cancel" link, so a customer can move a booking without ringing you.
  • Tells you when a person is needed

A message Voco cannot help with is passed to you on WhatsApp instead. A message Voco has answered does not interrupt you.

From message to outcome

What happens when a customer replies on WhatsApp?

A WhatsApp conversation with Voco goes through four steps: Voco sends the first message, the customer replies, Voco answers or tells you, and the conversation lands on the customer record.

  1. 01

    Voco sends the first message

A booking confirmation or a follow-up after a call goes to the customer on WhatsApp, in your business's name.

  2. 02

    The customer replies

With a question, a photo or a voice note, at any hour.

  3. 03

    Voco answers or tells you

With AI replies on, Voco answers straight away. With them off, or when the customer needs you, Voco tells you a customer is waiting.

  4. 04

It lands on the customer record

The whole conversation sits in the customer's timeline, next to their calls, emails and bookings.

Owner controls

How do you run Voco from your own WhatsApp?

Voco owners connect their own WhatsApp in Settings and can then approve bookings, take over conversations, ask about their day and get urgent alerts without opening the dashboard.

  • Approve or decline bookings

When a booking needs your say, Voco messages you and you approve or decline it with a reply.
  • Take over by replying

Reply to a customer yourself and Voco leaves the conversation to you.
  • A daily summary

One message at the end of the day with the calls, bookings and anything waiting for you.
  • Ask about your day

Ask "who called this morning?" and Voco answers from your calls and bookings.
  • Urgent call alerts

An urgent call or a new lead reaches you on WhatsApp, with the caller's name, number and what they need.
