NewAI outbound calls for UK small businesses
Missed a call? Voco rings them back
Voco calls your customers back so a missed call does not become a lost job: it rings a caller who hung up or never got through a minute later, calls back website enquiries that ask for it, and checks unconfirmed appointments on the morning. Each kind of call is off until you switch it on, calls come from your Voco number, and unanswered attempts cost nothing.
Pay as you go at 29p a minute, billed by the second. Unanswered calls are free.

When Voco calls
When does Voco call your customers?
Voco makes six kinds of call, each switched on separately: missed-call callbacks, website form callbacks, call-backs you ask for, appointment checks, calls your other systems request, and calling lists.
Missed-call callback
When a caller hangs up early, a call drops or a forwarded call never reaches Voco, Voco rings them back a minute later, inside your opening hours. You set the retries, up to 3.Website form callback
A form on your website can ask Voco to ring the person back. The call happens only when they tick "Call me back about my enquiry", a box you can restyle but not remove.Call back from a record
Tap "Call back" on any call or chat and Voco rings the customer for you.Appointment check calls
On the morning of an appointment, Voco can ring customers who have not confirmed, so a no-show becomes a free slot.Calls from your other systems
Your CRM or job system can ask Voco to ring someone through a private link you control, up to a daily limit.Calling lists
Upload customers who agreed to hear from you and Voco calls them, after an ID check, a Companies House match and screening every number against the TPS.
A callback
What happens on a missed-call callback?
A missed-call callback goes through four steps: the call is missed, Voco waits a minute, Voco rings and says who it is, and you get the outcome.
- 01
The call is missed
The caller hangs up early, the line drops, or they asked to be rung back.
- 02
Voco waits a minute
Then it rings from your Voco number, inside your opening hours.
- 03
Voco says who it is
The call opens with your business name, says it is your AI assistant ringing about the missed call, and gives the recording notice.
- 04
You get the outcome
The details, transcript and next step land in your dashboard. If nobody answers after your retries, Voco texts the caller and tells you.
Safeguards
How does Voco keep outbound calls safe?
Voco protects your inbound calls first, never leaves voicemails, and only calls customers who started the conversation or agreed to hear from you.
Your incoming calls come first
Outbound pauses when less than 20% of your month's call allowance is left, or below a £10 balance on pay as you go, so your phone always stays answered. No voicemails
Voco does not leave voicemails. An unanswered call is free, and retries keep to Ofcom's rules on repeat calls.Service calls, not sales
Callbacks, form follow-ups and appointment checks are about something the customer started. Calling lists need the customer's consent, and every number is screened against the TPS first.Stop means stop
A customer who asks not to be called again is not called again.
